2nd South Project Scheduled to Finish

GREEN RIVER - The shortcut is almost done.  Director of Parks and Recreation, Walt Bratton, announced at Tuesday (10/16./07) night's council meeting that the 2nd South Street underpass project is currently on schedule and $40 thousand dollars under budget.  Next Friday, the 26th, will be the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.  That ceremony will take place on the railroad avenue side, which is on the North side of the project.  So, feel free to celebrate that re-opening and check out the improved underpass Friday the 26th of October at the Ribbon Cutting, which will take place at 5:00pm.
