Crime Spree Suspects Charged

CHADRON, Neb. - Charges have now been filed against five suspects in a regional crime spree.  The suspects were captured in Nebraska after a South Dakota casino robbery and crime spree stretching into Wyoming and Montana.  Each of the five Montana men is charged with conspiracy to receive, retain, or dispose of stolen property; operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest; and obstructing a peace officer.  Authorities says more charges may be filed, and the men will probably face charges in other states, as well.  One male suspect who is sixteen years old, has been charged as an adult.  South Dakota police say the men went into the State Line Casino near the border between Nebraska and South Dakota Wednesday evening, pulled a gun, and stole money.  Three of the men are also suspects in a number of armed robberies at convenience stores in Montana and Wyoming.
