Exotic Animal Charge GREEN RIVER - The Green River City Council will have a first reading of an ordinance to update the definition of exotic animals this evening (10/16/07). Any animal that isn't native to the state or not naturally found in Wyoming - including birds, reptiles, crustaceans, amphibians, and mollusks - would all be considered exotic. According to the ordinance permits for exotic animals are issued by the City Administrator. The council will also be considering the 2nd reading of an ordinance to adopt a new master plan for the city's parks and rec areas. Council action items include the possible adoption of the Parks and Rec Department's Resource Management Plan and possible changes at the pavilion in regard to the closing times and the cleaning security damage deposit fee. |
