Wyoming Arts Summit

CASPER - The upcoming Wyoming Arts Summit in Casper is geared to show how the Arts can significantly impact the economic development of a community.  The most recent Arts and Economic Prosperity study conducted by the American for the Arts found that the nonprofit arts and culture industry generates over 166 billion in economic activity every year.  That's the equivalent of 5.7 million full-time jobs and 7.9 billion in local government tax revenues.  Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi was one of the founding members of the Senate Cultural Caucus and will be in Casper October 19th to speak at the Gala dinner of the Wyoming Arts Summit.  Enzi says the arts enrich our lives in many ways.
