Wyoming Delegation

WASHINGTON D.C. - Forests in the Rocky Mountain Region already experience a number of natural problems, including bark beetles, wildfire, and drought.  U.S. Senators Mike Enzi and John Barrasso, and Representative Barbara Cubin are working to make sure inadequate funding is not added to the list of hazards facing out national forests.  Recently, Senators and representatives wrote a letter to Chief Gail Kimbell, head of the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), expressing their preference that Wyoming, Colorado, and South Dakota forests get enough funds from the USFS 2008 budget to maintain state forest lands.
