Clam Fondue

 

Ingredients

Preparation

2 tbsp butter
1 small onion
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
1 cup Cheddar cheese cubes
2 tbsp ketchup
1tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can (7 1/2 oz) minced clams, drained
1 1/2 tbsp sherry, optional

1.  Melt butter in top of double boiler.  Add onion and green pepper.  Sauté until soft but not brown.

2.  Add cheese, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.  Cook until cheese melts.  Add clams and sherry, if used.

3.  Serve with an assortment of crackers or raw vegetables.
