Spaghetti Sauce

 

Ingredients

Preparation

1 lrg onion cut up = 1 cup
2 garlic cloves
1 1/2 lbs hamburger fried
sliced mushrooms
3 16 oz cans diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp thyme
1 lrg bay leaf
2 cups water

1.  In a pan, put olive oil with onion and garlic.  Saute until onion is opaque.  Add tomatoes, paste, brown sugar, spices, bay leaf and water.

2.  Cook for an hour or until cooked down.  Add cooked hamburger and mushrooms.  Simmer for another 15 minutes.
