New Mexico Street Fire

Firefighters, paramedics , and police responded to a fire call at a home on New Mexico Street in Green River Friday evening. Green River Fire Chief Mike Kennedy gave a description of the fire and its damages while on scene. “It appeared as though some coals from the fire pit caused the back of the shed to catch on fire, burning down the fence and the shed,” said Kennedy. No one was hurt during the incident, and the Green River Fire department was able to extinguish the flames in under five minutes after their arrival.
