Bridger Valley Game
The Mountain View Buffalos look to rebound after a tough loss to their rivals, the Lyman Eagles. Mountain View will travel to Thermopolis to take on the two time defending 2A champion Bobcats.
This game has major playoff implications as the loser will not be headed to the post-season. If Mountain View wins, they will still need a win over Kemmerer in the final week of the season to make the trip to November football.
To beat the Bobcats, the Buffalos must control the football and the clock. Thermop is now knows for their high octane, spread offense. They can score quickly and in bunches. Mountain view will need to go back to basics by running the football, and eating up clock. Senior back, Earl Hickman will most likely be called up to take the majority of the carries while freshman stand out Austin Housekeeper will get more experience playing both running back and taking snaps at quarterback. Senior qb/wide receiver, Tanner Brown will be the Buffalos wild card on offense, Brown has speed, size, and experience playing both wide receiver and quarterback.
But, the most important factor for this game will be the line of scrimmage. Mountain View’s Bo Aimone, Hazen Dickerson, and Ty Malone have done an excellent job all year of blocking on offense and getting penetration on defense. They will need to own the Bobcats big men to win this game.
Pregame will be at 6:45- kick off at 7 on 92.1 KFRZ The Freeze and online right here, at www.theradionetwork.net.
