Putting Students to Work
SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - A Sheridan elementary school is teachingits students by putting them to work at jobs that were once done by school personnel. The volunteer program has Coffeen Elementary students working as door greeters, cafe cleaners, and recyclers,among other posts. School Principal Nicole Trahan tells The Sheridan Press students must apply for a job, be interviewed and selected much like a regular job.
